Refresh: Hygiene and Hope is a program we jointly operate with Community Action House for folks who are experiencing homelessness, housing and/or food insecurity, and social isolation, offering the gifts of a hot shower, mail service (within our guidelines), a meal, and connection to services in our church building at 57 W. 10th St.

The program runs on Tuesday and Friday mornings (8-11 am) and Wednesday evenings (5:30-8 pm) throughout the year. We strive for an atmosphere of warm welcome, dignity, and respect. Please enter through Door A to access Refresh during our program hours.

How To Serve At Refresh

There are opportunities to serve at Refresh:
  • In person during our open hours or onsite after hours laundry
  • "Sharing a Load" of laundry that you wash at home
  • Donating funds (see button below) or some of our often-used items
  • Helping provide meals (especially on Wednesday evenings)
For more information about this program, which is proudly co-sponsored with Community Action House, contact Rev. LuAnne or fill out our interest form. Click here for a video about Refresh, celebrating our 2nd anniversary in 2021.
