Unbound From Death: The Power of Resurrection

 • Series: Unbound

Rev. Tania Dozeman, preaching Luke 24:1-12 Discussion Questions: The Great Unbinding “Ah, it is the beauty and glory of Easter morning!” What’s something that brings you a sense of hope or joy in the spring season? It could be a tradition, a small moment, or just something in nature that reminds you of new life. “They came not because they had answers, but because they understood the need to show up.” When in your life have you shown up even when you didn’t have the answers? What helped you take that step? “Why do you look for the living among the dead?” What are some “dead places” we return to—out of habit, fear, or longing—that no longer give life? What might it look like to let those go and seek resurrection instead? “Resurrection unbinds us—again and again and again.” What is something you feel God might be unbinding in you or in the church right now? What needs to be released for something new to grow? “We are not swaddled anymore. We are not in the tomb. We are not alone. And we are not finished.” Which of those four declarations speaks to you most deeply right now—and why? How might it guide the way you live into resurrection this week?
