The Blessing of Giving

 • Series: GeneroUs

Rev. Tania Dozeman, preaching, Luke 6:32-38 Discussion Questions: Tania says her spirit in the last month-ish is angry/sad. How is your spirit? What are you carrying to God in prayer? As you read Luke 6:27-38, what is your “come to Jesus moment”? What is the section of this scripture that gives you a holy zing? If the space feels safe enough and you are willing to share, why is that? Tania says, “This kind of generosity isn’t just for those who will reciprocate. It’s about giving with open hands, with no expectation of return, and no strings attached. This is a kin-dom vision.” Where have you seen this kind of generosity? And where would you like to see it? This sermon notes that all of these things are deeply interconnected and cannot be separated from one another. Do you think so? Can someone be highly generous with their finances and refuse to forgive? Or vice versa? What is the one nugget of this scripture and the time of worship you will chew on in the following week?
