What do you want your legacy to be to the church and to the world 2. Acts 20:35 says: It is more blessed to give than to receive. Share an example where you have experienced this. 3. Read 1 Timothy 6:17-19. a. In what ways can we balance the pursuit of material wealth with the Biblical call to focus on God and live generously? How can we guard against the temptation to place our hope in wealth rather than in God's provision? b. The passage speaks about storing up a "good foundation for the future." What does it mean to "take hold of the life that really is life," and how can this principle guide our daily actions, especially in terms of generosity and good works? 4. Tish quoted an old Greek proverb that goes like this: “A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in.” What “trees” are you excited to see “planted.”
